I had just finished reading THE LIFE AND TIMES OF FREDERICK DOUGLASS, the famous African-American abolitionist, so this film was quite suitable:) This very inspiring book can be downloaded from Google here:
It is very insightful in describing the moral, spiritual, social and political effects of slavery on our society here in the U.S. It's amazing how hopelessly entrenched and influential the system seemed to be for so long, and yet how suddenly and swiftly it was all shattered and swept away. May abortion become just as unthinkable!
